Two brands, two stories – working together to define how heritage meets innovation.

In the ‘90s, Woolrich® teamed up with the CORDURA® brand to create Wool-Dura™, a specialty blend of wool and nylon fabric used in hunting apparel. Now, the two meet again for the CORDURA® brand 50th anniversary with a newly reimagined Wool-Dura™ fabric, that takes inspiration from its hunting-centric predecessors while adding a modern cross-functional twist for today’s performance driven urban consumer.

Spun and woven in Woolrich’s 187 year old mill, the new Wool-Dura™ collection mixes the legendary durability of CORDURA® fiber with the natural Woolrich wool qualities of warmth, comfort and softness to create a new contemporary classic.

According to Karuna Scheinfeld, VP of design, “Working for Woolrich® has an incredible emotional value. I love the brand, I love the history, I love the history of the product. We’ve been fans of the CORDURA® brand at Woolrich® for years. When we start bringing CORDURA® fiber into the mix, we create a product that has all of the properties of wool but becomes more durable and long-lasting.”

The Wool-Dura™ collection will be on display at Winter Outdoor Retailer (Salt Lake City, UT) in both the CORDURA® brand (#39213) and Woolrich (#19001) booths, with reimagined Wooldura™ fabrics available now.
