Wichita, KS - June 22, 2010 - This summer, military, tactical and law enforcement personnel will be able to purchase special promotionally priced TRU SPEC® brand undergarments. • TRU-SPEC® Crew Neck t-shirt, short sleeve:  The TRU-SPEC® crew neck t-shirt is equipped with a heat-transfer tag to help prevent scratching for enhanced comfort and an off-set flat-seam construction on the shoulder to minimize abrasion and seam stacking.  Available colors: sand, white, marine olive drab, black, navy, foliage and heather grey.
• TRU-SPEC® Mock Turtle Neck, short sleeve:  Designed for style and comfort, the mock-turtle-neck short-sleeved shirt features a heat-transfer tag to help prevent scratching for enhanced comfort and an off-set flat seam construction on the shoulder to minimize abrasion and seam stacking. Available colors: sand, white, navy and black.
• TRU-SPEC® Boxer Briefs:  These boxer briefs feature a gripper on the exterior of the waistband to secure shirttail, an access fly with flat-seam construction to reduce friction, and a ribbed knit hem to prevent abrasion. Additionally, the boxer briefs have a heat-transfer tag to help prevent scratching for enhanced comfort. Available colors: sand, white, navy, marine olive drab, heather grey and black. 

Designed to be worn underneath uniforms, the TRU-SPEC® brand undergarments are constructed with No Melt/No Drip* CORDURA® Baselayer fabric. This patent-pending 60/40 cotton-nylon fabric blend helps to protect the wearer by insulating the body when exposed to heat in flash-fire situations such as vehicle fires. The unique fiber blend forms gels and chars around the cotton, creating an entirely new fabric structure with a higher ignition resistance that does not drip or melt onto the skin underneath like polyester. These TRU-SPEC® brand undergarments featuring CORDURA® Baselayer fabric meet the requirements of NFPA 1975-2009 for station/work uniforms for emergency services.

Additionally, the TRU-SPEC® brand undergarments also feature the CORDURA® Baselayer with freshFX® fabric technology. CORDURA® Baselayer freshFX® fabric utilizes silver-based technology to protect the fabric, enabling the next-to-skin undergarments to provide long-lasting freshness.
