That’s why we’ve teamed up with the Project 20/20 Design Awards (part of the Professional Clothing Show & Awards) to help fashion and textile design students in the UK experience a day in the life of a designer – and even the chance to win a little cash for their creativity.
The Project 20/20 Design Awards empower students to design and create their own vision of garments for professional clothing. This year’s program challenges student designers to conceptualize corporatewear, workwear and/or personal protective equipment (PPE) for workers in the year 2020.
We took it one step further with the CORDURA® Durable Design Award, which challenged students to take their Project 20/20 creative masterpieces and integrate fabric functionality and commercial viability to their design entries.
We selected twelve semi-finalists to make their designs come to life, and now we’ve narrowed it down to four finalists to be announced at the Professional Clothing Awards June 22nd. Keep an eye out for the winners announcement here and on our social media pages!
To see the winning designs up close, visit the CORDURA® brand stand (UU250) at the Safety & Health Expo/Professional Clothing Show ExCel London – 21-23 June.
